17 May: EU regional seminar for Latin America and the Caribbean

This week, ICC Head of Research, Dr. Beatriz García, is in Havana to participate in the EU Regional Seminar for Latin America and the Caribbean.
Organised yearly by the Directorate-General for International Cooperation and Development, the seminar brings together Heads of EU Delegations and key staff to discuss challenges and perspectives for EU Development and international cooperation in the region.
As part of the agenda, Dr. García will participate in a specific panel on the challenges and opportunities for cooperation in the area of culture, where she will discuss the essential role that culture can play in advancing international cooperation and development.
