13-14 August – The Olympic Games – Meeting New Challenges, Oxford – Specialist Conference, with support from Routledge, Dr Garcia will be discussing her forthcoming book.

13 September – ATLAS Conference, London – Global Cities – Dr Garcia is the opening Keynote Speaker

13 September – ENCACT Annual conference, London – Networked culture (3pm-5pm session) Beatriz will be leading a workshop on conducting Olympic research
