Urban Cultural Projects: Practice, Research, Policy

ICC Head of Research, Beatriz Garcia, has been invited to Urban Cultural Projects: Practice, Research, Policy, a series of discussions held by the University of Chicago’s Cultural Policy Center at the university’s Paris campus.

The event will be a small convening of about 25 researchers, practitioners and policymakers around the theme of urban cultural placemaking, and has been organised as part of the Center’s efforts to develop a more international and comparative focus for its work, and its desire to build a broader research network for research projects.

As part of the event, Beatriz will make a short presentation on the European Capital of Culture programme as a case study in culture-led urban development.
