Research visit to the International Olympic Committee

ICC Head of Research, Beatriz Garcia, will be visiting the International Olympic Committee (IOC) this March to discuss the Olympic Agenda 2020. After a year of discussion and consultation with all stakeholders of the Olympic Movement, the Olympic Agenda 2020 was unanimously agreed at the 127th IOC Session in December 2014, setting out a clear vision of where the Olympic movement is headed and how the uniqueness and values of the Games can be protected. Beatriz will meet the IOC’s Culture and Heritage department to discuss the implications that the Olympic Agenda 2020 has for the Games’ cultural programming.
