First International Research Conference on the Arts and Dementia: Theory, Methodology and Evidence

This event is on 9 March 2017 9:00am

ICC Research Fellow Gayle Whelan has been invited to speak at this flagship academic event on the arts and dementia. Gayle’s paper will focus on our research with National Museums Liverpool on the award-winning dementia awareness training programme House of Memories, with a particular emphasis on its social value and her methodological expertise in social return on investment (SROI).

The conference is a key milestone in the developing international field of arts and dementia. Led by Professor Paul Camic of Canterbury Christ Church University in partnership with the Royal Society for Public Health, the event creates an exciting opportunity to hear about new research and to engage in lively discussions with researchers, artists, clinicians and people with dementia and caregivers in a beautiful central London location.
