AHRC Leadership Fellows Conference 2017

This event is on 6 November 2017

The Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) is hosting its annual Leadership Fellows conference at Brunel University London in November 2017. The conference will be framed around the concept of leadership, providing a space for current award holders to share experiences of fellowships; network with other AHRC Fellows; participate in Fellow-led workshops; and learn about future AHRC funding opportunities.

The ICC’s Head of Research Kerry Wilson will participate in the conference following her mid-career Leadership Fellowship award in July 2017. Kerry will share updates on her Fellowship-funded research ‘Instrumental Values: Professional ethics in collaborative cultural work’, including leadership activities with project partners the Museums Association, the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals, the Institute of Applied Ethics at the University of Hull and the Centre for Heritage and Museum Studies, Australian National University.

During day 2 of the conference, prospective applicants will have the opportunity to learn more about the Fellowship scheme, including criteria for a successful application and research leadership development.
