European Healthcare Design 2020 Congress, Awards & Exhibition

This event is on 14 September 2020

The 6th European Healthcare Design 2020 Congress & Exhibition aims to construct a comprehensive narrative for sustainable healthcare design in the widest sense – health system redesign, architecture, landscape, funding models, scientific and digital technologies, products and infrastructure, along with good food, art, performance, and nature. In recognition of the urgent challenges that lay before us, the main plenary theme for European Healthcare Design 2020 will be healthcare ‘At the Tipping Point: Designing for Population and Planetary Health’.

The event was originally scheduled to take place during June 2019 at the Royal College of Physicians in London, and will now be held entirely online during 14-18 September 2020. Click here to see the full programme.

ICC Head of Research Kerry Wilson is delighted to be presenting a paper – Museums at the heart of person-centred dementia care: the case of House of Memories – in collaboration with Carol Rogers MBE, Director of the internationally acclaimed House of Memories dementia awareness programme at National Museums Liverpool. Kerry has led research on the impact and value of the programme since 2013, and will be presenting her research with Carol on Friday 18th September in the Designing for Older Age session (9.00-10.15am).
