UKES 2016 Annual Evaluation Conference: ‘Building a Culture of Evaluation’

This event is running from 27 April 2016 until 28 April 2016

In April, ICC Head of Research, Dr. Beatriz García, will act as keynote speaker at the UK Evaluation Society’s Annual Evaluation Conference, which is being held this year in London.

The aim of this year’s conference is to explore the ways in which a culture of evaluation can be developed within an organisation by overcoming challenges such as scarcity of resources and lack of evaluation know-how.

In her keynote presentation, Dr. García will contribute to the main aim of the conference by sharing and reflecting upon the innovative methodologies she has devised in impact evaluations of major cultural events such as Liverpool European Capital of Culture 2008 and the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad — demonstrating how complex and difficult-to-evaluate issues can be made simpler and more tangible.

The UKES annual conference is attended by a wide range of practitioners from different sectors and backgrounds, with speakers and discussants drawn from government, academia, business, think tanks and the voluntary sector.
