ICC Director to address Council of Europe sub-committee on culture, diversity and heritage

On Monday, as part of a joint meeting in London of the Council of Europe sub-committees on Refugee and Migrant Children and Young People and Culture, Diversity and Heritage, ICC Director, Dr Beatriz Garcia, will contribute to a panel discussion on the value of cultural heritage in a democratic society.
Speaking alongside Professor Andy Pratt (City University), Guy Nicholson (Borough of Hackney), Andrea Stark (Borough of Islington) and Lorna Lee (Borough of Waltham Forest), the session will involve a visit to and presentation of Tate Modern as a case study in the rehabilitation of industrial heritage.
