On 14 July, Beatriz Garcia, ICC Head of Research, will be attending RSA Connect: Hull as part of the new ‘Connect’ event series being hosted by the RSA that combines networking opportunities and in-depth group discussion on specific themes.
With Hull’s year as UK City of Culture in 2017 fast approaching, Beatriz will be using the event to discuss alternative approaches to regeneration that utilise the power of people, culture and enterprise, and will share examples of how we can harness the power of the community, build a sense of ownership and demonstrate that making a difference is not just a ‘tick box quick fix’, but an investment in our future.
