Museums Association Conference & Exhibition

With its world-class range of museums, galleries, libraries and heritage sites, this year’s Museum Association Conference & Exhibition will take place in Manchester.

Central to conference proceedings this year will be the themes of audiences, collections and workforce, including the question of how museums use their collections to deepen engagement with audiences, whilst at the same time developing a workforce that drives the sector forward and rises to the challenges it faces.

Speakers this year will include many from outside the sector — all contributing to a thought-provoking, inspiring and action-packed three days. Among them will be ICC Director, Dr. Beatriz Garcia, who will speak at a session on culture-led regeneration and the role within it for museums and arts venues.
