Shaping the new Centre for Cultural Value

This event is on 14 February 2020 12:00pm

The recently launched Centre for Cultural Value is hosting three events in early 2020 where colleagues can meet the team and help to shape and build the centre’s work for the next five years.

These free half-day interactive events will include opportunities to:

  • Debate some of the big questions underpinning cultural value and how we might work together to better capture and articulate the difference that the work of the cultural sector makes to people’s lives and society.
  • Identify how the centre can help you to increase the ambition and quality of evaluation in the cultural sector and associated issues.
  • Share feedback on the centre’s proposed model and themes.
  • Collaborate with the centre and find out about opportunities to try new methods of understanding and capturing the differences arts and culture actually make.
  • Discuss how we can work together to support an evidence-based approach to national and local policy making.

Events will be held in Cardiff, London and Edinburgh – click here for more information. The ICC will be represented by Head of Research and AHRC Leadership Fellow Kerry Wilson at the Edinburgh event on 14th February.
