People, Politics and Communication seminar series at LJMU

Added on Tuesday, March 29th, 2022

People, Politics and Communication is a new research cluster based in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at LJMU. Led by Professor Peter Millward, the cluster brings together academics from the departments of Sociology, Media and Communication and Politics to share and create new interdisciplinary ways of working within the department and to promote its research expertise.

To launch the new initiative, there will be a dedicated seminar series running throughout semester 2 (2021-22), co-ordinated by Professor David Chalcraft and Dr Simone Krueger-Bridge (Department of Sociology). ICC Head of Research Kerry Wilson will deliver a seminar as part of the programme on 11th May 2022 (2pm in RB/138), where she will share her recent AHRC-funded research on professional ethics with museums working in health and social care settings and prison libraries. Click here for more information on Kerry’s seminar and how to take part.
