27 May: ‘Making an Impact’ research seminar

Added on Wednesday, May 20th, 2015

Beatriz Garcia, ICC Head of Research, will be speaking at an event on 27 May at the University of Liverpool’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences as part of an ongoing programme of ‘Making an Impact’ events organised by the faculty in conjunction with the Heseltine Institute. Drawing on the experience of Research Council reviewers and case studies from within and outside the University of Liverpool, this two-hour session will provide an opportunity to explore how people have tackled Pathways to Impact to win funding; understand what Professional Services support is on hand to build and deliver on impact narratives; and discuss ideas and future proposals with colleagues.

Dr Garcia will be one of two academics to present case studies on the theme of ‘Making an Impact’. The other will be Rob Kronenburg from the School of Architecture, who will talk about his experiences as a peer reviewer for the AHRC and the Leverhulme Trust.

For further details on the event, see the event listing here.
