AHRC Workshop for Early Career Researchers in Arts and Humanities

This event is on 22 September 2016 9:00am

Colleagues at Liverpool Hope University are hosting a North of England workshop for early career researchers in the arts and humanities on Thursday 22nd September 2016, in association with the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC). The ICC’s Head of Research Kerry Wilson has been invited to speak at the event about our research collaboration with National Museums Liverpool (NML).

Kerry will give an overview of the Crossing Boundaries research programme, designed to investigate the cross-sector value of NML’s award-winning dementia awareness training programme House of Memories. She will also discuss the opportunities created via this research, led by Kerry since 2013, to recruit and develop postdoctoral early career researchers and the value of the programme in relation to understanding, articulating and evidencing research impact in the arts and humanities (copy of presentation available here).

Other speakers include colleagues from the AHRC, the University of Liverpool and arts organisations in the city. For more information please contact Liverpool Hope University’s Colin Cooper: cooperc1@hope.ac.uk
