ICC to evaluate international impact of Shakespeare Lives programme

Added on Wednesday, July 6th, 2016

Shakespeare Lives is a pan British Council programme of international events and activities celebrating Shakespeare’s work on the 400th anniversary of his death in 2016.

As part of an overarching evaluation of Shakespeare Lives, a team led by ICC Head of Research, Dr Beatriz García, has been commissioned by the British Council to produce three regional and country case studies that are designed to assess the impact and reception of the programme internationally — including the impact of programme activities in these countries on perceptions of the UK.

Further information on this research, which will report in January 2017, is available on the dedicated research page here. For further information on the Shakespeare Lives programme, please visit the programme website.
